Keeping you moving is essential: for health, for training and for competition. Physical therapy is instrumental in preventing or reducing conditions such as ankle sprains, plantarfasciitis, shoulder tendonitis, back pain, neck pain, hip dysfunction, knee issues, and wrist/finger/hand problems. With her expertise in pelvic rehab, Kristi has the ideal in-depth training as a physical therapist to address the "core", boosting your energy to prolong endurance and, if that's an issue, to improve continence. Kristi took clinical assessment skills training from the lead Harvard's Spaulding National Running Center physical therapist and the UC San Francisco physical therapy running experts, and keeps current with the research. Kathleen, as an experienced orthopedic physical therapist, works with athletes, and can provide these cash-based services as well.
Athletes are invited to experience TREADMILL RUNNING-FORM ANALYSIS. This is tailored to YOU, depending on things like how many pairs of shoes you wish to compare, what your running looks like, if you've had any problems, and how many questions you have. An extensive biomechanical exam will also be conducted so we can work up a complete assessment of your musculoskeletal features in regards to your running, biking, and swimming. Careful measurements and solid clinical reasoning based on available evidence should take place before you implement any recommendations that alter your training.
To our existing patients who want to expand their athletic endeavors: you can call 530-891-4456 to update your information and get on the schedule, 1 to 2 visits per week over 2 to 3 weeks.
